I really enjoy problem solving and making a space that one looks forward to being in. My goal has always been to create a memorable and inviting environment that’s relaxing and functional. The beauty station accent wall below taught me a lot about patience. I really got into the zen and meticulousness of cutting, shaping and fitting the glass tiles. For the barn door project and wishing well I loved working with copper. Copper is one of my favorite materials to work with because of its amazing thermal and electrical qualities plus its indestructible outdoors and extremely malleable and forgiving to form. The modern world wouldn’t exist without copper. I have great admiration for any man or women that works with their hands perfecting their craft and making a living. Any time I can integrate other crafts like stained glass into a project is inspiring to me. See below for more projects.
I always try to involve my kids in the making process. I’m trying to teach them to try new things and get dirty in this age of “screens”
